Dr.
Tad Pfister. Dr. Pfister has a degree in veterinarian medicine
and biology.
He owned and operated an animal hospital and surgical
practice in Nogales, AZ for 40 years before
it was purchased by the Santa Cruz Humane Society. Tad continues to practice
part-time for those clients who refuse to give him up. He is an avid
fly fisherman and has been interested in Mearns Quail, their habitat and
food sources, for ten years.
Fred
Arbona attended Cornell University for
economics and law, where he wrote two books on aquatic
entomology.
He spend
many years in the fly fishing industry and the computer field.
This last season marked the twentieth winter he has hunted Arizona
quail with his beloved English Setters. The summers finds him stalking
redfish and seatrout in the flats of southern Laguna Madre in Texas.
